What is the Tobacco Treatment Specialist (TTS) Core Training you offer?

The Tobacco Treatment Specialist (TTS) Core Training is an intensive 4-day, in-person, evidence-based training program. The program is designed for persons who deliver tobacco treatment services within a health care or community setting. The evidence-based curriculum has been adopted from the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMass) and is designed to address a set of core competencies defined by the Association for the Treatment of Tobacco Use and Dependence. Upon successful completion of the training program, participants may apply for the National Certificate in Tobacco Treatment Practice (NCTTP).

Due to the intensity and requirements of UMass, the TTS core training is offered at an additional cost to participants.
