Cigarette smoking is the leading known preventable cause of disease and death in the United States. Although significant declines in overall smoking have been achieved, substantial disparities persist in the prevalence of smoking in the transgender and gender diverse community. This program will explore factors associated with the disproportionate impact of tobacco use and the use of culturally-tailored tobacco treatment interventions in this population.
